Wordless Wednesday – Fruit and Veggie Haul

This, my friends, made my day – so I must share.

THIS is what you call a Fruit and Veggie HAUL.  And considering my recent confession to you about my LACK of healthy eating habits, I am delighted to break this down for you.

Coming home with me today from our local produce stand (thanks, ART!) is:

  • One bunch of bananas
  • One bag of Grapes
  • Two quarts of Strawberries
  • Two pints of Blueberries
  • A freshly cut Pineapple
  • Ten navel Oranges
  • Six Gala Apples
  • Two Lemons
  • One bunch of Asparagus
  • One Red Onion
  • Three Peppers: red, green and yellow

All for the OUTSTANDING sum of $24.  *cue jaw drop*

So….this is why my WORDLESS Wednesday is actually a WORDY Wednesday this week.

Off to make a smoothie!  Happy Wednesday, Friends!

My family eats a lot of fresh fruit. Even in season it can get really expensive on the budget.
