Disney on Ice is Pure Magic

This week has been hard.  Not tragic hard.  Just I-have-a-headache-too-much-to-do-and-I’m-a-mommy hard.  So, my enthusiasm for our Disney on Ice event was not at a traditional pitch.

However, it didn’t take long to snap me out of my funk.

To say that our Disney on Ice experience was magical would be an understatement.

miniandmommyBefore the event even started, the crew from MomCentral treated a group of local mom bloggers and their families to a backstage dinner and meet-n’-greet with Mickey and Minnie.  If you are a small person, there is nothing better.  (Honestly, as a big person – there isn’t much better).

The actual performance was spectacular.  I’ve been to Disney on Ice before and this one was really something special – it celebrated 100 years of Disney. From the individual performances – Mickey and Minnie, Toy Story, Aladdin, The Lion King, The Princesses, Pinocchio – to the DisneyWorld tributes – Its A Small World and the Electric Light Parade – to the closing Fireworks display – we were mesmerized. (Coop was a bit startled by the fireworks at the end, but the memory of the show wasn’t threatened)

If are in St. Louis and would like to go – there is still plenty of time.
