Bliss TV – Change that Morning Routine

BlissTV- Morning Routines from Blissful Media Group on Vimeo.

A five year old foot kicks me in the kidney – that’s how I am first roused.  Then the small dude begs to let the dog out – only to struggle for too long to get him on a leash to go outside: accident number one.  That means he turns the bedroom light on.  By the way, it is 5:30am.

And while I may or may not have yelled, “turn the light off”, I did, most definitely bellow when the dog had accident number two.

I am on a permanent quest to ‘get organized’ – to feel as though I am on top of the day to day chaos that is our life.

Alas, it seems I am destined to wake amid chaos and fall asleep to its angry hoof beat.  Mornings are the most challenging.  Why?  Because there is an official deadline.  The kids HAVE to be in school.  We HAVE to pick up the neighborhood kids for carpool.  I HAVE to get them fed, make lunches, pack snacks, gather backpacks and somehow find shoes that match and a coat that zips.

To say nothing of breakfast.  Every morning I ask the small people what they would like to eat….and every morning they hum….they haw…..the start to color, begin to fight, or lay on the floor with the puppy.

And every morning I feel guilty that I didn’t manage to plan more the night before.

The good news, I am not alone…..and if you suffer from the morning routine blues, neither are you…

What do you do to make mornings a little more peaceful?

Enter to win one of three Break up with your Breakfast Grand Prizes at Blissfully Domestic.

P.S. Be sure to hang around until the end of the video for the outtakes.  Comedy. :)

Oh the doggie in the blankie.

And I am so happy that adorable little doggie lives at your house and not mine.
