I saw this video just now and had to share it with you.  It embodies the messages I am determined to teach my small girl.  I can not claim to be an athlete.  I was the uncoordinated one on the soccer field, on the volleyball court.

But Delaney, given the option, will pick up a ball and a bat instead of a doll.

She would rather wear soccer shorts and mismatched socks than a dress any day.

Her birthday wish is to banish all things pink from her room.

She is tough.  She is passionate. She is fabulous.

She plays like a girl.

She just wants to play ball.
