I have been trying to reamp my wardrobe a bit – clearing out the stuff I will CLEARLY never wear and bringing in some quality pieces that will a) last more than 3 wears and b) can be worn in multiple settings with multiple other items.
This Fashion Haul at Macys (Sale included) is the beginning of that….
Friends…. it is that time of year – you are banishing the dust bunnies and washing the floor boards (or SOME of you are) The rest of you are like me. You are THINKING about it. And you are jealous of the people who have the motivation to do it.
I say start with your closet.
And, I’m here to offer you a little Spring Cleaning Wardrobe motivation….

My small girl hit an incredible growth spurt. Those midnight leg cramps? They were happening because her sweet little legs were getting LONGER. And growing out of the pants I just bought her 6 weeks ago. Hence the need for a bit of shopping. And the inevitable Fashion Haul Video. Enjoy.

For those of you who might be new to the ‘Fashion Haul’ concept – here is the 60 second version – it is a video – from one to ten minutes – showcasing recent fashion purchases (ie your ‘haul’ ) from any given store. Maybe you like to shop at Target, Macys, H&M, or as in my case for my first fashion haul – I went to Marshall’s…… so, here goes:
Last night I met Tim Gunn. He is one of the most kind, genuine people I have met.
I walked into the room feeling decidedly fashion-less…..but a man like Tim can change that. He issued a challenge to our group of women (we were on teams) – take a T-shirt and a secret bag of ‘goodies’ and create something that is “stylish, innovative and says ‘fashion’”. I’d say our team of lovely ladies did pretty well.
