Today is DeLurker Day. This means, you can sneak out just for a minute and let me know you are here! It is fun to know you are stopping by – and it gives me an extra chance to swing by to visit you. I know I am not always the best commenter, so this is equally motivating for me.

I’ve posted before on blog etiquette…..because, honestly, the whole blogging world began as a great big, eternal mystery to me….how often should you comment? How often should I post? Is it wrong to post 5 times in one day if that is how many times you want to write? How should you respond to commenters? Should I email them back directly? Or respond within the post? If I respond within the post…am I assuming the posters are coming back to check? What is a meme? I mean, really, what does ‘meme’ mean? Where do awards come from? Do individual bloggers create them and they circulate like YouTube favorites? How funny is the word ‘lurker’? And how many times do you think people visit before they comment?
Ok….hmmmmm….
Hit me with your thoughts….or, I suppose, if you are just lurking just read the post and think about a response. Maybe I’ll get it telepathically. Either way, I’m glad you are here!
