Finding your HOME at BlogHer

I’m prepping for my second-ever-BlogHer.

Here’s what I know for sure:

I’m excited – I’m not packed (and I probably won’t be until right before my flight) – I always over-pack (it is a flaw) – I adore NYC – BlogHer is a huge event – whether you are new or not, it will feel overwhelming at moments – the best thing you can do is smile (other people are nervous too) – my favorite part of BlogHer (or any conference)?  The people, without a doubt.

You see…with the people….I smile, I belly laugh, I learn, I connect, I relax.

When I leave BlogHer, I will take a million small memories with me.  I’m hoping those memories will include joy and laughter and a few light bulb moments.

One of the highlights of my experience will be working with Procter & Gamble.  P&G will have this amazing HOME AWAY FROM HOME at the conference.  And by HOME, I do mean somewhere you can go to relax, recharge and experience the goodness that is P&G with an at-home feeling.  BlogHer is all things fun-crazy-fantastic-chaotic-loud-and-wonderful.  So, P&G decided to bring a little peace to the conference – there will be five rooms for you to wander and naturally you will be able to experience P&G products in this environment, as well as chat with the superb people behind the brand.

I am excited to share that I will be there to ask the question:  What are YOU bringing HOME from BlogHer?  Is it a tidbit of knowledge?  A new friendship?  A product you love? An unexpected experience?

Find me on site (I’ll have the microphone)  or tweet me so we can connect! I can’t wait to hear what you are bringing home!

Also…. there is a little something extra to share.  Are you ready? Everyone attending the conference will receive a P&G “Passport” in their attendee tote bag.  The card will include a gift from P&G’s Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program indicating that a donation has been made on your behalf. (How heavenly is THAT?)

AND When you bring that passport to the P&G Home, you’ll receive a stamp each time you visit a room in the house. If you turn in the card with all five stamps, you are eligible to win a set of brand new appliances – a washer/dryer, fridge and dishwasher PLUS a supply of P&G products.

As if you needed more incentives to visit, there will be a series of speakers visiting the P&G Home each day – be sure to take a look at the schedule!

I will see you at the P&G Home, won’t I?

Home would never be a crowd of 2,500+ people, so I’ll be looking for comforts from home. I’ll also be hanging out and hosting the Serenity Suite for some R&R.
