Lucky

I am a lucky girl.

I have an amazing husband who brought me roses for no reason last week.  AND he let the kids take the credit. I don’t think there is anything sweeter than the small dude standing at the bottom of the stairs saying, “Dees aaar fow you, Mommy’”.

My kids are healthy and happy.  And incredibly sassy and occasionally whiny – but I think that means they are just healthy and happy.

I have amazing friends, a roof over my head, food on our table and a very comfy bed.

Tomorrow is Monday and for me that means simply the start of another crazy, active week.  My biggest problems are self-induced – time management, email control and procrastination.

So, this is my chance to simply say thank you – to everyone who has supported me, believed in me, helped me to laugh AT myself, reminded me to laugh at the kids instead of lose my temper and critiqued me in any way – you help to make me better.

I feel especially lovely after an unheard-of ten and a half hours of sleep last night.

And while, the nighttime clock is ticking now, I am peaceful knowing, deep in my heart, I am lucky.
