Back to School Giveaway
This is a big week for us - Back to School for my oldest.
Well, actually it is ‘going-to-Kindergarten-for-the-first-time’ week, but it is back to school if 1/2 day/3 day preschool counts!
So, we have spent the past few weeks planning: buying school supplies, getting her uniform ready, talking about carpools…. For so many families, part of starting school means getting on the school bus.
So - I have this wonderful giveaway in honor of Back To School!
I’M YOUR BUS - Picture book Giveaway
One (1) Grand Prize winner receives a Back-to-School Prize Pack including:
- Essential Back-to-School Supply Kit

“I’M YOUR BUS” is all about:
Get ready for a rip-roaring, rhyming ride that celebrates all things drivin’ with a special spotlight on a kid’s four-wheeled best buddy–his school bus! I remember how important it was to pick out the right back pack. You had to pick the perfect one and hope that no one else had it.
My favourite back to school memory is memory of imagining how it will be with my little one. Waiting for him when he comes homes. His first projects - pictures etc for school. I have no fond school memories I was painfully shy and made to feel small and meek for it. School was horrible.

Coming back to school after Hurricance Katrina, we were
out for 3 weeks, and I was a senior and happy that my school

I liked having my family walk me to kindergarten.
Getting new clothes and backpack was always great.
My favorite is actually when my daughter started kindergarten (not of me) and she was so cute in a darling little dress all excited about going to school. Of course after I dropped her off, I drove around in my van crying until time to pick her up. LOL She’s in college now so it’s funny to think about that. Thanks.
i liked getting new crayons.
My favorite back to school memory is the day my youngest child came home from his 1st day of kindergarten chomping at the bit to tell me about all the fun things he did at school, after being totally afraid that morning. Sure made Dad feel a WHOLE LOT BETTER.(I was a wreck that morning)
Each of my kids has done their own cute little things on the first day of school. My favorite memories are of their excitement when they go to school in their new school clothes and carrying their new school supplies.
Meeting new friends
My mom always made Malt-o-Meal with a face made out of mini marshmallows and raisins for the first day of school!
