Baby Signs Giveaway + $50 GC to Babies R Us!

I spent the first month’s of both Delaney’s and Cooper’s lives mentally begging them to communicate with me.  Until they could talk – it felt like a guessing game – or some terrible joke the universe was playing with me: “Are you hungry?  Hot?  Cold?  Tired?  Just crabby?”

I know MANY moms who have used Baby Sign Language as a way to begin the mommy-baby communication process BEFORE words come in to play.

To celebrate that Mommy-Baby Bond:

babiesrus1A Fantastic Giveaway

We are giving away the pop-up book, Baby Signs AND a $50 Gift Certificate to Babies R Us.

babysignssmall1BABY SIGNS is based on American Sign Language and will help encourage the use of non-verbal gestures to communicate. Research has proven that babies who are taught to use signs to express their basic ideas before they can say words are happier because they can communicate with others.

There will be FIVE winners.

One (1) Grand Prize winner:

  • Copy of Baby Signs Pop-Up Book
  • $50 Babies ‘R Us Gift Card

Four (4) First Prize winners

  • Copy of Baby Signs Pop-Up Book

To enter, leave a comment here – telling me the ONE thing you wish your child could say to you from the very beginning.  Do you want to know when they are hungry?  When they miss you?  What makes them happiest?

For extra entries:

Contest will run until July 30th.

Good luck!!

The winner will have two calendar days to reply via email. Unclaimed prizes will be placed for availability to newly chosen winners after that time. Giveaway is open to all U.S. residents only, must be at least 18 years old to enter. One entry per person, entries accepted through July 30, 2009 ending at exactly 11:59 CDT.

The one thing I want baby to learn as soon as possible is the sign for help! Then baby can sign help and point to something. Help + point at foot would direct attention straight there, rather than checking all over. A dropped toy could be retrieved by Help + point at toy. It’d make life SO easy!

(I can’t get either your newsletter or your subscription links to work, Hopefully it’s just me doing something wrong!)

    Thanks for the giveaway!
