Red Robin Kids’ Cook-Off

More than 11 THOUSAND kids submitted original Gourmet Burger Recipes for the 5th Annual Red Robin Kids’ Cook-Off

10 Finalists were chosen.

One of those amazing kids was from right here in St. Louis….  Jake Tucker.  I traveled with Jake and his family to watch him compete.

The Winner’s Burger will be on Red Robin Menus this next summer, and, as I mentioned, proceeds from the sale of that burger will go the the National Center for Missing and Exploited Kids.

Thank you to Red Robin for bringing me along on this trip….  it was a joy to watch so many talented kids share their love of cooking (and of Red Robin).  I had a fantastic time in Denver.
