Giveaway! ~Welcome Little One~

I think you know, I truly believe reading with your children is one of the greatest gifts you can give.

As my daughter has grown from an infant, to a toddler, to a little girl – her interest in books has increased.  And I know that is, in part, due to the time we spent reading together.

welcomelittleone_interior3You know how the littlest ones LOVE the touchy-feely, interactive books??  Do you have a little one?  Or know someone who soon will??

welcomelittleone_interior2We own Welcome, Little One.  Both of my children think it is fascinating – even though they are clearly past the infant stage.  It is a wonderful, interactive book that celebrates that magic and joy that arrive when the new baby does.

Beloved author and artist Sandra Magsamen uses soothing, lulling text and a wide variety of novelty elements, including touch-and-feels, pull-tabs, lift-the-flaps, a musical sound chip, pop-ups and more to celebrate baby’s arrival.  You will clearly remember all of the special moments you experienced when baby arrived.

Contest runs from April 1st through April 27th.  To enter, please post a comment here and tell us your favorite children’s book – infant through toddlers and teens.

ExtraordinaryMommy.com is not responsible for prizes that are shipped from outside vendors or sponsors. All entries will be pooled together and one (1) winner will be drawn at random. The winner will have two calendar days to reply via email. My favorite book to read is Love You Forever. My mother bought this for me for a Mother’s Day gift on my first year being a mom. She read it to my baby daughter and I remember getting tears in my eyes. This year, as on all Mother’s Day years, I will read it to all my children only this year I know it will leave a lump in my throat as I lost my mother in December and it will be the first Mother’s Day without her. Somehow I know she will be listening.
