Hooray for good news! I was nervous about my first too because of everything I’d heard. But, like you said, no big deal. I had no idea a breast could do that, but it wasn’t nearly as bad as rock hard breast feeding boobs or cracked nippl*es!
Danielle… I’m so proud of you for going to get this done. I give you big KUDOS!!! I do love that you did the video too, because it is good to hear the real story for all of us that have not had a mammogram.

I REALLY appreciate you sharing this. I’ve heard some horrendous stories about mammograms and they at one point convinced me hell would freeze over before I put myself through one. Should a problem ever arise, you’ve helped convince me to check it out.

I’m so happy to hear everything is ok. I don’t know if it is took soon and too close to reality but I am reading a book called the Middle Place and I highly recommend. It was so ironic that I started reading that book (extremely close to what your week has been with a different ending) and I just wanted to recommend to you. So glad you are healthy and got good news!!! Kudos on posting this because it is critical for women to be proactive about their health and screenings are important. Mammograms are NOT as scary, painful, or terrible as some women fear.

Thanks for posting this. I will be getting checked out soon. I found a few lumps, small, and probably due to aging as well. Never could be too sure. This post was very helpful. Brings me at ease for my appointment. Thanks again

I have to have a mammogram every six months due to lumps. So far so good! I am proud you posted this for others to see. You have to take care of yourself! You have to be there for your family!

I started mammograms early because of family history. I also dreaded my first one, but it’s really not bad at all. And it’s so quick too!
