A few favorite things about Blissdom

The anticipation.

The drive here with my friend, Molly.

The volume in the room as people see each other.

Meeting someone in person who I have only known virtually.

Reconnecting with the people who made this a special event for me last year.

The belly laughs.

Tweeting from across the room – it is like passing notes in class.

Learning that writing is a craft, not simply a gift.

The dancing.

Harry Connick Jr….I mean, seriously.

Having roomies – it is like a college flashback.

Video.  Video.  Video.

Connecting.  Smiling.

Speaking on my first Blissdom panel with some amazing women: Audrey, Jo-Lynne, Jendi and Esther

And of course…..

The hugging.  I’m a hugger.  I love the hugging.

Did I mention the hugging?

    I can’t wait to see the video of Flat TidyMom getting that kiss from Harry! {swoon}

    I did not know you were driving until the day you left….for some reason I always assumed you would fly……darn, had I thought to ask you, driving sure would have made it at little more possible for me to have gone, I just didn’t want to drive, or drive by myself……..but it certainly would have been much cheaper than flying!!

    I’ve enjoyed everyone’s tweets all weekend!! Can’t wait to hear all the reports and see more pictures (and video)

    Oh how I love blogging conferences. I so wish I could have been at Blissdom, but Janice and I are splitting up most of our conference going and since she was on a Blissdom panel, that pretty much meant she got Blissdom.

    But I’m so excited to leave for Disney Social Media Moms Celebration and then go to Mom 2.0 Summit after that.

    no problem…….it wasn’t the ONLY thing that kept me from going…….but had I started off by thinking in that direction……..Well, now I know and I can plan accordingly for next time!!
